Different Options for Living Playing and Hoping In Nonviolence and Safety (D.O.L.P.H.I.N.S.)
Let’s follow
2020 will go down in the history books and our children’s children will read about this year and say, “Thank goodness I wasn’t born yet!”
What a horrific year, if you didn’t lose your job, you got COVID19; if you didn’t totally stress out, your addictions got the better of you or someone you love; if the frogs didn’t get your pet, the flying ants got you; if the fires didn’t destroy your home, the smoke destroyed your health or took the lives of loved ones. The list goes on and on locusts, swarming killer hornets, mega storms and it just goes on and on.
Dare we hope that just the change of year will wipe this all away? I don’t know why 2020 brought all the pain, stress and havoc to our lives but it did. There are many out there who are using these events to their own advantage. So where is the hope?
HOPE comes in the form of the One who Loved you into being, the One who became one of us and taught/teaches and will teach us the infinite glory of real LOVE and HOPE. The One who accompanies us daily, responding to our cries, takes in our praises and celebrates our celebrations.
Over the next 4 weeks of Advent (the 4 Sundays and weeks before Christmas), please join us as we reach out to God through devotions, praise and prayer.
And finally: Christmas Day – December 25, The celebration of the birth of our Savior/ bringer of hope and divine love.
